We started War on Wasted Talent because we are driven to do something practical to challenge outdated stereotypes that prevent experienced professionals 45+ like you from finding work, transitioning to a new career or doing work you love.

We understand the value of experience and we want you to be able to stay in and thrive at work….so we built a platform especially for you.

So, what’s the problem?

As a mature aged worker, we know you get caught up in a broken recruitment process.

You spend hours trawling through job ads, writing applications and dealing with recruiters who don’t seem interested in you. If you even get an interview, you may be overlooked because ‘you are too experienced for the job’ or ‘not the right cultural fit’. This is often code for ‘too old’ yet over 50’s and millennials complement each other at work and overwhelmingly indicate they enjoy working together.

Employers and recruiters often assume that you want more money, are not tech savvy and are stuck in your ways.

What’s more, jobs boards attract thousands of applications making it impossible to stand out from the crowd.
